Raymond Lee Hartman

New Middletown: A private memorial service was held on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at Thompson Funeral Home, Boardman for Raymond Lee Hartman, 49 who died Thursday morning, November 1, 2012 at Essex of Salem

Raymond was born April 3, 1963 in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of Edward Monroe and Evelyn Lee (Evans) Hartman.

He graduated from Poland Seminary High School in 1983. Raymond worked at C.C.L. Container in Hermitage, Pennsylvania for over 15 years before becoming disabled in July, 2012. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was always helping other people when needed. He served his country in the Army and was a marksman and a wire systems installer in the military.

His wife the former Deborah Frances whom he married on September 8, 1993, died in 2010.

Raymond is survived by his mother Evelyn L. Hartman of New Castle, Pennsylvania, a son Adam James Hartman of Harrisburg, Pa., three brothers Edward C. Hartman of New Middletown, Ronald A. Hartman of Bessemer, Pa., and Steven M. (Beverly J.) Hartman of Poland, three grandchildren Skylar Ray Hartman, Jada Irene Paige Hartman, & Aaden James Eugene Hartman, and four nieces & nephews; Kaitlynn, Kyle, Olivia & Jed.

Besides his wife, Deborah, Raymond was preceded in death by his father Edward M. Hartman.
