Marion L. Molnar, 82

Poland: There will be funeral services on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, 4221 Market Street, Boardman for Marion L. Molnar, 82 who passed away Sunday morning, September 25, 2011 at Saint Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.

She was born December 12, 1928 in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of the late John and Mildred (Fink) Schneider.

Marion graduated from Boardman High School in 1946. She was a legal secretary for 47 years, working for Johnson & Johnson in Canfield, before retiring in 1993. She was a lifelong member of Good Hope Lutheran Church in North Lima.

Her husband, Stephen Molnar, Sr. whom she married on February 21, 1948, died March 10, 1994.

Marion is survived by two daughters, Karen (Joseph) Orr and Deborah (Kenneth) Orr, both of Poland, three sons Stephen (Linda) , Molnar, Jr. of East Palestine, Jeffrey (Sue) Molnar of Columbiana, and Gregory (Kim) Molnar of North Lima, three brothers; Jack Schneider of North Lima, Roy Schneider of Litchfield, Ohio, and Robert Schneider of New Springfield, Ohio, 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, Marion was preceded in death by sister Shirley Horger and a great granddaughter Kailyn Orr.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, Boardman and one hour prior the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.

The family request that material tributes take the form of contributions to the Molnar family.

Marion loved life, sports, watching TV, going to the spa, bingo and spending time with her family, especially Sunday dinners.
