Youngstown – Luke Leo Heffron, 61, of Youngstown, passed away at his residence on Friday morning, November 28, 2025.
Luke was born in Youngstown on March 11, 1964, the son of John and Martha (Gifford) Heffron, and was a lifelong area resident.
He attended Cardinal Mooney High School, where he played football, and later graduated from Wilson High School. Luke was employed with Ziegler Tire for many years.
Luke enjoyed working on cars, fishing, boating, and taking road trips. He was also a devoted and enthusiastic Cleveland Browns fan.
He leaves behind to hold onto his memory his beloved wife of over 38 years, the former Sue; his son, Bryan; five brothers, John (Kim), Frank, Leo, Kenneth, and Thomas Heffron; and three sisters, Betty Koby, Margaret (Rob) Moreau, and Judith (David) Dodd. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.
Luke was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Shirley Mulligan.
Per Luke’s wishes, there will be no services, and a caring cremation has taken place.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of the Thompson-Filicky Funeral Home, 4221 Market St., Boardman.
