Louise Virginia Korhely, 74

Youngstown: There will be a Memorial service on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Thompson-Filicky Funeral Home, 4221 Market Street, Boardman for Louise Virginia Korhely, 74 who died Wednesday morning, January 14, 2015 at Beeghly Oaks Nursing Center.

Louise was born July 7, 1940 in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Samuel and Irene (Drozdik) Kwiecinski. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School and lived in the area all of her life.

She was a former member of Saint Cyril & Methodius Church, Youngstown and was a homemaker.

Louise is survived by her husband of 54 years, Thomas M. Korhely, whom she married on November 19, 1960; a daughter Denise M. Salensky of Campbell; a son Thomas M. Korhely of Youngstown, two brothers, Robert (Karen) Slepski of Poland, her twin, Louis Slepski of Boardman; two sisters, Dorothy (John) Sobinovsky of Youngstown and Evelyn (James) Novello of Vienna; two grandchildren, Rindi Gaul of Boardman and Richard Salensky of Campbell; and three great grandchildren, Mason Salensky, Corbin Salensky and Emerson Gaul.

Family and friends may call on Sunday, January 18, 2015 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Thompson-Filicky Funeral Home, Boardman, with service to follow at 2 p.m.
