Linda S. Smeltzer Youngstown: There will be funeral services on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Thompson-Filicky Funeral Home, 4221 Market Street, Boardman for Linda Susan Smeltzer, 57, who died Sunday afternoon, June 1, 2014 at Hospice House with her family by her side. Linda was born March 30, 1957 in Warren, the daughter of William L. and Lucretia M. (McCane) Ealy. She moved to the area as a child and was a homemaker. Linda is survived by her mother, Lucretia Marie Ealy of Youngstown, her husband of 37 years, William R. Smeltzer, whom she married on March 30, 1977, five children; Billy W. Taninecz of Warren, Susan M. Smeltzer of Hubbard, Roseanna L. Taninecz of Youngstown, Belinda L. (Dennis Shaffer) Smeltzer and Linda S. (Jonathan Estep , both of Hubbard, six grandchildren; Berdie Smeltzer, George Smeltzer, Belinda K. Smeltzer, Hannah Smeltzer, Lily Smeltzer and Nicholas W. Taninecz-Jackson, three brothers; William Ealy and Edward Ealy, both of Youngstown, and Paul (Amy) Ealy of Struthers, four sisters; Genie Ealy, Debbie (Larry) Lee and Edie (Andy) Smeltzer, all from Youngstown and Martha Conrad of California. She was preceded in death by her father; William L. Ealy. Family and friends may call on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m. at the Thompson-Filicky Funeral Home, Boardman.
