Karla Sue Judd, 62

Boardman: There will be Memorial Services on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Thompson-Filicky Funeral Home, 4221 Market Street, Boardman for Karla Sue Judd, 62 who passed away Saturday evening, July 5, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Health Center.

Karla was born April 8, 1952 in Pontiac, Michigan, the daughter of the late Robert V. and Gladys I. (Parker) Kaelber.

She graduated from Ontario High School, Mansfield, Ohio and moved to the Youngstown area in 1971.

Karla was a metal finisher for Cubbison Company, Youngstown for 34 years, retiring in 2007.

She was a member of Safe Harbor Church, Boardman. Karla performed at The Victorian Players and was a volunteer. During the holidays she enjoyed working with her husband in their family business Rent-A-Claus, where she played Mrs. Claus. She was a collector of Teddy Bears.

Karla is survived by her husband of 18 years, Rex D. Judd, whom she married on December 21, 1996, a sister Kristine L. Miller of Struthers, a brother, Kevin R. (Kerri) Kaebler of Girard and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m. at Thompson-Filicky Funeral Home.
