Beaver Township There will be funeral services on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.at Thompson~Filicky Funeral Home,4221 Market Street, Boardman for Karen Lee Orr, 64, who died Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Northside Valley Medical Center with her family by her side.

Karen was born May 17, 1950 in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Stephen B. and Marion L. (Schneider) Molnar Sr.

She graduated from Boardman High School in 1968 and was a member of the marching band, playing the French horn.

Karen was a member of the Good Hope Lutheran Church, North Lima.

She worked at the former Mellinger’s Nursey for several years and later for Elliott’s Garden Center.

Her Husband of 44 years, Joseph Albert Orr whom she married September 6, 1969, died December 18, 2013

Karen is survived by her three sons Bryan J. (Fiance’Kim Coleman) Orr of Niles, Jason B. Orr and Justin (Fiance’Tiffany Mayer) Orr, both of Poland, a sister Deborah (Kenneth) Orr of Poland, three brothers Stephen (Linda) Molnar, Jr. of East Palestine, Jeffrey (Sue) Molnar of Columbiana and Gregory (Kim) Molnar of North Lima, five grandsons Brandon, Tristan,
Devon, Daniel and Ryan.

Family and friends may call on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Thompson~Filicky Funeral Home and on Thursday, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
