James E. Bennette

Boardman - There will be funeral services on Saturday, April 16, 2011, at 11a.m. at Thompson Funeral Home,4221 Market Street, in Boardman for James E. Bennette, 80, who died on Tuesday morning at his residence.

He was born September 6, 1930, in Fayette City, Pa., a son of the late Elza and Mary Bennette.

His wife, Sara Nutt, whom he married on April 3, 1950,died March 30, 2005.

James leaves a son, James (Sachiko) Bennette of Cortland; a granddaughter, Dr. Rebecca Bennette (dr. James Fitzsimons) of Middle Bury, Vt; and step granddaughter, Diana Davila of Poland; and step grandson, Mike (Dawn) Carpenter of Canastota, N.Y.

Friends may call on Friday, April 15, 2011, from 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Saturday, April 16, at Thompson Funeral Home, Boardman.
