Boardman: There will be funeral services on Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at 1p.m. at Martin Luther Lutheran Church, 420 Clearmount Drive, Youngstown for Gloria Mae Hack, 83 who died Saturday evening, July 23, 2011 at The Greenbriar Commons, Boardman.

She was born November 11, 1927, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late William Harvey and Ada Mae (Thomas) Cadman.



Gloria moved to the Youngstown area as a child and graduated from Chaney High School in 1946. She graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in education.

She was a school teacher with the Youngstown Board of Education for over 30 years, retiring in 1980, where she taught at Sheridan Elementary School.

Gloria was a member of Martin Luther Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband, Regis Edward Hack, whom she married in 1977, five step-children; Karen S. Hack of Youngstown, Roger E. (Darlene) Hack of Salem, Russell K. Hack of Cleveland, Richard J. (Kathleen) Hack of Sacramento, California, Robert B. (Lynn) Hack of North Lima, a niece Deborah J. (Delbert) Holdash of Cleveland, a nephew Bill (Mary) Cadman of Colleyville, Texas, and four step-grandsons.

Besides her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by a brother William H. Cadman, Jr.

Friends may call on Wednesday, July 27, 2011, from 12 Noon until 1 p.m. at Martin Luther Lutheran Church, Youngstown.
