Alice Bernice DuVall, 97

Miamisburg: Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 10, 2011 at 11:00a.m. at Paradise United Church of Christ, 10020 New Buffalo Road, Canfield for Alice Bernice DuVall, 97 of Miamisburg, formerly of Columbiana who died Thursday morning, October 6, 2011 at Southview Medical Center.

She was born June 14, 1914 in Bellevue, Ohio the daughter of the late Leroy and Gertrude (Decker) Moyer.

Alice lived in Gary, Indiana from 1936 to 1942 and returned to Canfield. In 1981 she moved to Tennessee and in 1998 she moved to Arkansas and later returned to Columbiana. In 2005, she moved to Miamisburg, Ohio.

She was a former member of the First Church of the Nazarene, Youngstown and was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Miamisburg, Ohio.

Alice is survived by her husband Nile I. DuVall whom she married October 21, 1931, two sons, Lloyd DuVall and Howard and spouse Audrey) DuVall all of Springsboro, Ohio, eight grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, a daughter Lois I. Knox, two brothers, Gilbert Moyer and Irvin Moyer, and a sister Thelma Mullarky.

Family and friends may call from on Monday, October 10, 2011 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Paradise United Church of Christ, Canfield.
