William A. Cicchillo East Palestine: There will be funeral services on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, 4221 Market Street, Boardman for William "Bill" A. Cicchillo, 74 who died Saturday afternoon, April 28, 2012 at Saint Elizabeth Boardman Health Center, where he was a patient for one week. He was born May 10, 1937 in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of the late Sabato "Sam" and Anna (Potisuk) Cicchillo. He graduated from of Poland High School in 1955. Bill was an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor at RMI Company in Niles, Ohio for 25 years, retiring in 2002. He was a member of The Johnson Club in Hillsville, Pennsylvania, enjoyed shooting pool with his friends and collecting books. Bill was Catholic by faith. Bill is survived by his wife of 28 years, the former Jennifer R. Shields, whom he married on March 2, 1984, a daughter Diana (Eric) Cahill of Troy, Ohio, a son William S. (Kayci) of Honolulu, Hawaii, a sister, Kathryn A. Hanes of Struthers, Ohio, and three granddaughters Laura Cahill, Kathleen Cahill, and Savannah Cicchillo. Besides his parents, Bill was preceded in death by two brothers, Samuel Cicchillo and Donald Cicchillo. Family and Friends may call on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, Boardman and one hour prior the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
