Theodore A. "Ted" Sebastian, 89

Austintown: Private graveside services were held on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, for Theodore A. Sebastian, 89, who died Saturday evening, November 12, 2016 with his family by his side.

Theodore, known as "Ted" was born July 16, 1927 in Youngstown, the son of the late Vincent and Helen (Smith) Sebastian.

Ted was a Navy veteran and a lifelong area resident.

He worked for General Extrusions on Lake Park Road for over 36 years, retiring in 1987.

He enjoyed working with his hands doing woodworking projects, as well as cooking and baking. Ted's family and friends will miss the great food that he prepared, "especially, the BEST Brier Hill pizza in the World."

Ted is survived by 4 children, James A. Sebastian of Lake Wales, Florida, Larry R. Sebastian of Austintown, Denise D. (Ron) Sebastian-Glista of Canfield and Wayne A. Sebastian of Winter Haven, Florida; 8 grandchildren, Tiffany Mayorga, JR Sebastian, Courtney (Brian) Howell, Vulcan (Abby) Sebastian, Ariele (Josh) Boyer, Mercedes (Ray) Buck Jarrid Sebastian and Brady Sebastian; and 15 great grandchildren, Taylor, Alex, Lauren, Macy, Jackson, Charlotte, Caitlynn, Vincent, Dominic, Autumn, Logan, Ty, James, Halen, and Reese.

Besides his parents, Ted was preceded in death by his wife of 19 years, the former Delores J. Thomas whom he married on January 17, 1959, died October 16, 1978; and his brother Thomas Sebastian.

The family requests that material tributes take the form of contributions to Hospice of the Valley, Salem Office, 2388 Southeast Blvd., Salem, Ohio 44460 in memory of Ted.
