Ruth L. Krigsman, 101
Boardman: There will be funeral services on Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, 4221 Market Street, Boardman for Ruth Krigsman, 101 of Boardman, formerly of Struthers, who died Saturday evening, April 2, 2011 at Shepherd of the Valley, Boardman.
She was born November 11, 1909 in Beaver Township, Ohio, the daughter of the late Archie and Clara Obenauf Wunderlin and moved to the Youngstown area over 44 years ago. She graduated from North Lima High School.
Ruth was a homemaker and was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and the Happy Days Senior Citizen Group at the church.
Her husband, Solomon Krigsman who she married on May 27, 1944, died November 1, 1985.
Ruth is survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, Ruth was preceded in death by three brothers Howard Wunderlin, Burton Wunderlin, and Carl Wunderlin and three sisters Esther Norwood, Helen Shandor and Thelma Wunderlin.
There are no calling hours.
The family would like to express their appreciation for the care that the doctors, home healthcare givers as well as the staff, at Shepard of the Valley, Boardman gave to Ruth.
