Robert L. Caspary, 64

Boardman:  Robert L. Caspary, 64, passed away Wednesday evening, January 31, 2018, at Hospice House with his loving family by his side.

Robert, known by his family and friends as "Bob", was born December 5, 1953 in Youngstown, the son of the late Arthur J. and Isabella (Baxter) Caspary.

He graduated from Boardman High School and was a lifelong area resident.

Bob worked for Astro Shapes Inc. in Struthers for over 20 years and served as the union representative for several years.

He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching Notre Dame football, the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Bob is survived by his wife of 32 years, the former Mary C. Okusewsky, whom he married on March 29, 1985; a son, Vince L. (Rachel) Caspary of Austintown; a grandson, Damien Caspary; two brothers, Arthur (Holly) Caspary of Canal  Fulton, Eric Caspary of Poland, two sisters, Carol Gallner of Indiana and Deborah (Floyd) Trebus of Toledo.

Per Bob's requests, there will be no calling hours or funeral services at this time.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of the Thompson Filicky Funeral Home, 4221 Market Street in Boardman.
