Robert Kenneth Keiper, 60 Youngstown: There will be a memorial service on Friday, August 15, 2014 at 3 p.m. at Niles Christian Assembly, 672 North Road, Niles for Robert Kenneth Keiper 60, who died Thursday morning, July 24, 2014 at his residence following a long illness. He was born January 5, 1954 in Youngstown the son of the late Kenneth and Elda (Learn) Keiper. Robert was a graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and lived in the area his entire life. He was a self-employed mechanic who loved working on cars. Robert is survived by his daughter Shannon M. Pope of Brookfield, two sisters, Patricia A. (David) Dennison of Berlin Center, Terry R. Omerzo of Niles, and a brother James W. (Terri) Keiper of Mount Gilead, four grandchildren; Casshan Wallace, Justin Wallace, Micah Pope and Khie'la Pope. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Keiper and his mother, Elda N. Swaniger, who died July 22, 2014, a brother Thomas Keiper and his long-time companion, Carol Lee Johnson, who passed away in October, 2013. Family and friends may call on Friday, August 15, 2014 from 2:30 until time of service at the church.
