Rae A. Hilbert

Boardman: There will be funeral services on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at John Knox Presbyterian Church, 1806 Market Street, Youngstown, for Rae Arlene Hilbert, 84 who died Sunday evening, May 21, 2012 at Valley Care, Northside Medical Center.

She was born August 31, 1927 in Youngstown, Ohio the daughter of the late Clifford and Anna (Hunter) Moore. She graduated from Struthers High School and lived in the Youngstown area her entire life.

Rae was a member of John Knox Presbyterian Church for 51 years, where she served as an Elder, a Deacon and was involved with the Mission Program at the church.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Thomas P. Hilbert, whom she married October 26, 1954, a son, David P. (Lenore) Smith of Atlanta, Georgia, two grandsons Richard Spencer and David Smith and two great grandson Brayden Smith and David Smith.

Besides her parents, Rae was proceeded in death by four sisters, Jane Barger, Winifred Dodson, Anna Mae Hutchings, Donagene Nelson, two brothers, Clifford Moore and James Moore.

Family and friends may call on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, 4221 Market Street, Boardman and on Thursday one hour prior the service at John Knox Presbyterian Church, Youngstown.
