Patricia M. Ventling Poland: There will be a celebration of life service on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016 at noon, at the Thompson-Filicky Funeral Home, 4221 Market St., Boardman, for Patricia M. Ventling, who died suddenly, Sunday morning, December 27, 2015. Visitation for Patricia will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday at the funeral home. Patricia, known as "Pat", was born in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Donald C. and Donna Adele (Cook) Mills. She graduated from South High School and later from Chadwick University with a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Management. She was clinic director and owner, along with her late husband of Poland Chiropractic Clinic, retiring in 1991. Pat was a member and past president of OSCA Women's Auxiliary, a member of the Air Force Association, a member of the Canfield and Southside Bridge clubs and was a private licensed pilot. Pat and her husband enjoyed competitive ballroom dancing and traveling. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends and studied cooking at several schools. She treasured the time she spent with her children and grandchildren. Pat is survived by two children, Amy (Tony) Cervone of Berlin Center and Eric W. Ventling of Houston; two grandchildren, Anthony Cervone and Alyssa Cervone; and a sister-in-law, Jackie Mills of Howland. Besides her parents and husband of 34 years, Dr. Jack L. Ventling, Pat was preceded in death by a brother, Dr. Donald J. Mills.
