Marjory Jean Bohnstedt Columbiana: There will be funeral services on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, 4221 Market Street, Boardman for Marjory Jean Bohnstedt, 88, formerly of Boardman, who died Monday morning, August 20, 2012 at Parkside Health Care Center. She was born March 15, 1924 in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of the late Carl and Bernice (Hunt) Swanson. Marjory was married to Robert L. Bohnstedt at the Indianola Methodist Church in Youngstown on March 13, 1946 . She and her husband lived in England, Alabama, Illinois, Delaware and then moved to Boardman in 1965 after Robert retired from the Air Force. She was a member of Boardman United Methodist Church and a member of the Ivy League Garden Club. She was a homemaker interested in gardening, ceramics, and decorating. Marjory is survived by a son Niles L. (Barbara) Bohnstedt of The Villages, Florida; a grandson, Eric R. (Lisa) Bohnstedt, a great granddaughter Jazlyn Rose Bohnstedt, both of Roswell, Georgia; a sister, Janet (James) Lingafelt of North Jackson; a sister-in-law Madelyn Swanson of Pa., and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, and husband, Robert, who died on January 15, 2005, Marjory was preceded in death by a sister; Dorothy Dodson and a brother Carl Swanson, Jr. Family and friends may call on Thursday, August 23, 2012 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, Boardman. Interment will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Boardman.
