Margaret "Peg" Elizabeth Barnett

Austintown: There will be funeral services on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 11a.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, 4221 Market Street, Boardman for Margaret "Peg" Elizabeth Barnett, 85 who died Saturday evening, November 5, 2011 at Hospice House.

Peg was born on January 24, 1926 in Lawrenceville, Illinois, the daughter of the late Clad and Gerty Mae Cozart. She moved to the Youngstown area and was a homemaker.

Peg is survived by her husband Bill E. Barnett, Sr., whom she married in 1972. Four step-children; Dennis Barnett of Youngstown, David Barnett, Dorothy "Dottie" (Peter) Kolaskos, and Bill E. Barnett,Jr., all from Austintown, a sister Rosey (Bill) Potts of Chicago, Illinois, six grandchildren Tony Barden, Jeffrey Barden, Chris Kolaskos, Angie Blinsky, Michelle Kolaskos, and Chuckie Barnett, five great grandchildren; Jacob Vince, Ava Blinsky, Aubrey Blinsky, Ali Blinsky and Michael Clendenen.

Besides her parents, Peg was preceded in death by a daughter Peggy Ann Barden and twelve sisters.

Family and friends may call on Wednesday, November 9th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, Boardman.
