Lillian L. Gleydura, 95 Boardman: There will be funeral services on Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Thompson-Filicky Funeral Home, 4221 Market St. with Rev. Dr. Brent J. Eelman officiating, for Lillian L. Gleydura, 95, who died suddenly Friday evening, January 29, 2016 at Brookdale Cornersburg with her family by her side. Lillian was born July 25, 1920 in Youngstown, the daughter of the late William and Susie Gollner. She graduated from South High School in 1938 and was a devoted wife and mother and grandmother. Lillian was a member of Heritage Presbyterian Church, formerly of Brownlee Woods Presbyterian Church. She was a member of The Ladies 500 Card Club, the Mothers Singers of Youngstown, Local 1331 Senior Citizens and United Commercial Travelers and was a volunteer at Hospice of the Valley. She enjoyed playing billiards, was an avid reader and enjoyed collecting carousel horses. Lillian is survived by three children, Judy (Tom) Klepfer of Vienna, Gene A. (Vicki) Gleydura of Austintown and Susan E. (Richard) Woodworth of Boardman; daughter-in-law, Rosemary Gleydura of Brunswick; 8 grandchildren, Diane (Thomas) Zavcar of Brunswick, Michael (Kirsten) Gleydura of Bay Village, Todd (Carla) Gleydura of Austintown, Sara (Mike) Bosiljcic of Canfield, Brett Gleydura of Sylvania, Billy Woodworth of Los Angeles, Michelle (Thomas) Hite of Boardman and Brian Woodworth of Boardman; and 5 great grandchildren; and a sister, Mildred Boda of New Middletown. Besides her parents, Lillian was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Stephen J. Gleydura, whom she married on August 6, 1940, died January 10, 1996; a son, Jerry S. Gleydura; a sister, Gertrude Ranklin and two brothers, Edward Gollner and Robert Gollner.
