Kathleen J. Payton Youngstown: Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Thompson-Filicky Funeral Home, 4221 Market Street, Boardman with Rev. Becky Hudak officiating, for Kathleen J. Payton, 98, formerly of Mahoning Avenue, who passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Omni Manor with her family by her side. Kathleen was born November 24, 1917 in Unity, the daughter of the late William and Fay (Justison) Felger. She moved to the Youngstown area in 1942. Kathleen worked for Klings Bakery on Market Street, as a bakery assistance for 15 years and was a homemaker. She is survived by two daughters, Elaine F. Hoskins of Youngstown and Dolores J. (Jamie) Hake of Largo, Florida; two granddaughters, Rochelle Kropinak of St. Peterburg, Florida and Krista Wick of Seminole, Florida; four great grandchildren, Emma Michael, Olivia, Hannah: a sister Paddy (Lou) Peveler of Tampa, Florida; and two brothers, Delmar (Yasuko) Felger of East Palestine and Gerald Felger of New Springfield; and several special nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, Dallas M. Payton, whom she married on September 17, 1967, died July 17, 1990; four sisters, Anola Master, Elva Fronk, Luciel Hartman and Mildred Felger; 5 brothers, Donald Felger, Alfred Felger, Virgil Felger, Harlan Felger and Russell Felger; and her first husband, Frank Hoskins.
