Austintown – Judith Lynn Brown, 76, passed away peacefully on Friday afternoon, June 12, 2026.

Judith was born July 7, 1949, in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of Harry and Alice (West) Woods. A lifelong area resident, she was a graduate of Chaney High School.

In addition to being a devoted homemaker, Judith retired from AT&T after many years of dedicated service, where she held a variety of positions throughout her career.

Judith embraced life with many passions and interests. She enjoyed reading, working puzzles, writing, crocheting, knitting, and creating handmade crafts. She found great joy in caring for her beloved dogs and cats and took pride in tending to her flower gardens.

Judith shared over 47 years of marriage with her husband, George Brown, whom she married on September 5, 1970. George preceded her in death on April 3, 2017.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Jennifer Schrader; her son, Jeff Bartholomew; her two grandchildren, Jada and Jacob; her sister, Sue Corfios; her brother-in-law, Richard C. Brown; and many nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

In addition to her husband, Judith was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Nicole Zoccole.

Judith will be remembered for her immense heart, unwavering kindness, infectious sense of humor, and the love she so freely shared with family and friends. Her warmth, generosity, and caring spirit touched the lives of all who knew her and will be deeply missed.

A private family service will be held at the funeral home with Pastor Russ Adams officiating.
