Youngstown: There will be funeral services at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 12, 2012 at Thompson Funeral Home, 4221 Market Street, Boardman for Joyce Ann Stanton, 66 who died Thursday evening, November 8, 2012 at Hospice House with her family at her side.

Joyce Ann was born July 25, 1946 in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Joyce) Bannon.

She graduated from Cardinal Mooney High School in 1964 and lived in the Youngstown area her entire life.

Joyce Ann worked in the home health care industry for over 30 years, retiring in August, 2012.

She attended Saint Charles Church, Boardman. Joyce Ann enjoyed spreading time with her family, especially her grandchildren, great grandchildren.

Her husband of 29 years, Dewey W. Stanton whom she married on June 1, 1972, died May 20, 2002.

Joyce Ann is survived by her children; Kenny W. (Erica) Stanton of Austintown, Ethel "Sis" Moyer of Sharon, Pa., David L. Stanton of Pittsburgh, Pa., Vanessa (Dan) Moore and Robin Stanton, both of New Castle, Pa., and Joseph D. (Katie Bartelson) Stanton of Boardman, 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Family and friends may call on Monday, November 12, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, Boardman.
