Joseph A. Orr, 66

Beaver Township: Joseph Albert Orr, 66 of Beaver Township, known as "Joe" died Wednesday evening, December 18, 2013 at Valley Care Northside Medical Center with his family by his side.

Joe was born July 9, 1947 in Youngstown, the son of the late Albert M. and Eleanor J. (McCall) Orr. He graduated from North Lima High School in 1965 and enlisted in the Marines, serving during the Vietnam War.

After serving in the military, Joe worked in the electrical maintenance department for the Youngstown Hospital Association for over 30 years, retiring in 2007.

He was a member of Allen Lodge #276, F& AM of Columbiana, the Youngstown Shrine Club of North Lima, the VFW Post 2799 of New Springfield and VFW Post 93 of Youngstown, the Eagles Fraternal Order of No. 213 and was a baseball coach for over 21 years.

Joe is survived by his wife of 44 years, the former Karen Lee Molnar, whom he married on September 6, 1969, three sons, Bryan J. (fiancee Kim Coleman) Orr of Niles, Jason B. Orr and Justin M. Orr, both of Poland, four brothers, his twin Michael Orr of Poland, Glenn (Joan) Orr of North Lima, Kenneth (Deborah) Orr of Poland, and Donald Orr of Masury, a sister Mary Maxwell of Nashville, Tennessee, five grandsons, Brandon, Tristan, Devon, Daniel, and Ryan.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 23, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, 4221 Market Street, Boardman.

Family and friends may call on Sunday, December 22, 2013 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, Boardman and one hour prior the service on Monday at the funeral home.
