Joseph Nicholas Dangerfield, 82

Poland: There will be funeral services on Monday, June 3, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, 4221 Market Street, Boardman for Joseph Nicholas Dangerfield, 82 who died Wednesday morning, May 29, 2013 at Hospice House.

Joseph was born February 24, 1931 in Youngstown, the son of the late Raymond and Gertrude M. (Callingwood) Dangerfield. He was a life-long area resident.

Joseph was a member of Labors International Union of North America, Local #125 for over 50 years, retiring in 1993.

He was a member of Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church, Youngstown and enjoyed fishing, bowling, playing pool and dancing.

Joseph is survived by his wife of 56 years, the former Shirley L. Parthemer, two brothers; Tracy Dangerfield of Berlin Center and Richard Dangerfield of Girard, several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by two brothers; David J. Dangerfield and Gene Dangerfield.

Family and friends may call on Sunday, June 2, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral, 4221 Market Street, Boardman.
