Dillonvale: There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Rush Run Community Chapel, 1983 County Road 17, Rayland, Ohio for John Harrison. Fowler, 65, who went home to be with the Lord, on Thursday, August 30, 2012.

He was born on May 26, 1947, in Glen Robbins, Ohio, the son of the late James Harrison and Mary Louise (Antonacci) Fowler.

John was a retired Mold Maker from Brockway Glass, which is now known as Owens Brockway Glass. He was a dedicated member of the Rush Run Chapel, where he served as a church historian and joke teller.

He is survived by his wife, the Joyce (Brown) Fowler, three children; Jon (Christy) Fowler of Boardman, Angela (Anthony) Hicks and Amy (Shane) Burkhead, both from Rayland, a brother; James Fowler of Satsuma, Florida and 6 grandchildren; Cory, Jessica, Timothy, Michael, Cassie, and Amber.

Besides his parents, John was preceded in death by his sister Mary Margaret (Spike) Fowler Wiltshire.

He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, pappy, and friend. He is dearly loved and will be missed by many.

John gave in death, as he gave in life. John was an organ and tissue donor.
