Jerome T. Kral, 89

Youngstown: There will be private graveside services at St. John's Cemetery, Lowellville for Jerome T. Kral, 89, who passed away Thursday morning, November 3, 2016 at Assumption Village with his family by his side.

Jerome, known as "Jerry", was born July 3, 1927 in Youngstown, the son of the late John J. and Helen M. (Gonda) Kral.

He served in the Coast Guard. Jerry worked in the maintenance department for Fitzsimmons Steel Company in Youngstown for over 47 years, retiring in 1981. After retiring, he worked for Ray Slavin Ford Dealership in Hubbard for several years. He was a member of the former Saint Elizabeth Church in Campbell.

Jerry is survived by his two daughters, Linda A. Wright of Campbell and Debora A. (John) Pascarella of Youngstown; three grandchildren, John (Nicole) Pascarella, Jr. of Struthers, Jill (Vincent) Burton of Liberty and Joseph Pascarella of Lemoore, California; five great grandchildren, Hunter, Christian, Ashton, Brooke & Sabrina; two sisters, Catherine "Kay" E. Meyers of Struthers and Anastasia M. Filicky of Boardman.

Besides his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, the former Josephine H. Hamrock, whom he married on May 28, 1956, died January 10, 2005; two sisters, Mary Kral and Patricia Kral; two brothers, John B. Kral and Joseph G. Kral.
