James M. Wolfe Ripley, West Virginia: There will be funeral services on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at Lake Park Cemetery Chapel, 1459 East Midlothian Boulevard, Youngstown for James M. Wolfe, 96, who died Sunday morning, September 27, 2015 at his residence. Jim was born June 4, 1919 in Pomeroy, Ohio, the son of the late Anthony and Anna (Smith) Wolfe. He graduated from Chaney High School in Youngstown. Jim was a World War II Navy veteran. After serving in the Navy, Jim worked as a machinist at Machine Shop 1 at Youngstown Sheet & Tube, for over 30 years before retiring. Jim is survived by his daughter Karen (Richard) Bailey of Kenna, West Virginia, 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. Besides his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, the former Betty Hogue whom he married in 1940 and died in 2000; three children, Judith Rodgers, Timothy Wolfe and Michael Wolfe; a brother Merle Wolfe; and a sister, Helen Duncan.
