James L. Egolf

North Lima: There will be funeral services on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Thompson ~ Filicky Funeral Home, 4221 Market Street, Boardman for James Linwood Egolf, 70 who passed away on Thursday afternoon, February 20, 2014 at Greenbriar Healthcare Center with his family by his side.

James was born on May 6, 1943 in Youngstown, the son of the late Ralph and Martha (Brennan) Egolf.

He was a 1963 graduate of Wilson High School and received an Associate Degree in Engineering at DeVry University. James was a customer service engineer for IBM for over 45 years retiring in 2006.

James is survived by his loving wife of forty six years the former Georgia L. (Rogers) Egolf whom he married March 11, 1967, three children, Tammy M. (Raymond) Peace of North Lima, James J. (Aileen) Egolf and Katie L. Egolf of Austintown, five grandchildren, Natalie Peace, Genna Peace, Mytchell Peace, Joshua Egolf, and Sarah Egolf, a brother Ralph (Debby) Egolf of Sarasota, Florida, and a sister Cindy Phillips of Tucson, Arizona.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a grandchild.

Family and friends may call on Monday, February 24, 2014 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Thompson~Filicky Funeral Home and 1 hour prior the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
