Jack Christopher Wolfgang, 52

Youngstown: Jack Christopher Wolfgang, 52, passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at his residence.

Jack, known as "Chris" was born January 17, 1965 in Youngstown, the son of the late Jack E. and JoAnne A. (Hetherington) Wolfgang.

He graduated from Boardman High School in 1983 and was a lifelong area resident.

Chris was an autoworker and a member of UAW Local 1112 for General Motors in Lordstown.

Chris is survived by his wife of 22 years, the former Wendy A. Davis whom he married on September 20, 1995; a daughter Jessica E. Wolfgang of Youngstown; a son, Raymond C. (Kara) Wolfgang of Poland; a brother Craig (Lisa) Wolfgang of Boardman and his sister, Candice K. (Charles) McGrath of Canfield; his brother-in-law, Jeff  R. (Angela) Davis of New Middletown; three nieces, Heather Bowers of Austintown, Amanda (Ryan Hahn)  Skica of Canfield, Ashlee Wolfgang of Columbus and two great nephews, Charles Bowers of Austintown and Logan Skica of Canfield.

A Celebrate of Life service will be held at a later date for Chris.  There are no calling hours.

The family requests that material tributes take the form of contributions to Angels for Animals, 4750 W. South Range Road, Canfield, Ohio  44406 in memory of Chris.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of Thompson Filicky Funeral Home in Boardman.
