Irene M. Clark

Boardman:  Private funeral services were held at Thompson Filicky Funeral Home in Boardman for Irene M. Clark, 90, who passed away on Friday, March 3, 2017 at Shepherd of the Valley, Boardman, with her family by her side.

Irene was born June 9, 1926 in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Robert and Wilma (Clark) Percy.

She graduated from South High School and was a lifelong area residence.

Irene worked for Joseph Horne's at the South Park Mall for several years.  She was a member of Boardman United Methodist Church.

Irene is survived by her daughter, Darlene M. Graft of Austintown; a granddaughter, Stacey (Larry) Kabetso of Canfield and four great grandchildren, David Park, Dale Kabetso, Dawn Kabetso and Larry Kabetso, III.

Besides her parents, Irene was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Charles E. Clark whom she married on December 31, 1946, died November 19, 2006,  a son, John Smeltzer; a sister Ann Kwiecien and her infant brother.
