Helen M. Streb Youngstown: There will be funeral services on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Thompson-Filicky Funeral Home, 4221 Market Street, for Helen M. Streb, 103, formerly of Youngstown, who died Thursday morning, September 3, 2015 at Shepherd of the Valley, Boardman with her family by her side. Helen was born November 27, 1911 in Struthers, the daughter of the late Earl and Catherine (Mohr) Brace. She worked for The Ohio Bell Company for over 30 years. Helen was a member of Canfield Presbyterian Church and the former John Knox Presbyterian Church in Youngstown. She was a member of the Lydia Circle and the Plesantimers Senior Citizen Group at John Knox Presbyterian Church and a member of the Ohio Bell Pioneers. She is survived by her daughter Audrey Kwiecien of Youngstown; a daughter-in-law, Donna Streb of McDonald, 5 grandchildren, Gary, Sherry, Lori, Judy and Louann; 11 great grandchildren, Becky, Billy (Jessica), Katie (Matt), Lauren, Alison, Michael, Holly, Shawn, David (Lynne), John Michael and Danny; and 6 great great grandchildren, Billy,V, Gabriella, Faith, Hunter, Anthony and Ava. Besides her parents, Helen was preceded in death by a son William Streb, Sr.; son-in-law, John Kwiecien; a brother Robert Brace; a sister Violet Morgan and a grandson, William Streb, Jr. Family and friends may call Tuesday, September 8, 2015 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Thompson-Filicky Funeral Home, Boardman.
