Harriet Ann (Murphy) Guerrier, 70 Austintown: There will be funeral services on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Thompson-Filicky Funeral Home, 4221 Market Street, Boardman for Harriet Ann (Murphy) Guerrier, 70 who passed away suddenly Friday, February 20, 2015 at Saint Elizabeth Health Center emergency room, Youngstown. Harriet was born December 29, 1944 in Fairchance, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Robert W. and Lilly E. (Price) Murphy. She moved to the Youngstown area as a child and graduated from South High School in 1961. She was a member of John Hagee Ministries and attended several churches in the area. She was a homemaker and enjoyed arts and crafts, cooking, gardening, antiquing and going to flea markets and garage sales. Harriet is survived by two sons, John R. Guerrier, Jr and James C. (Gail) Guerrier, both of Austintown; a brother James Murphy of Baldwinsville, New York; a half-brother Thomas; and two half-sisters, Betty Jo and Sandra; six grandchildren, Sarah M. Guerrier of Moon Township, Pennsylvania, Jesse P. Guerrier of Mineral Ridge, Jonathan J. Guerrier of Austintown, Robert J. (Lorraine) Coogle, IV of Jacksonville, North Carolina, Ryan Bistarkey and Deanna Bistarkey, both of Austintown; and several nieces and nephews. Harriet was a kind hearted, generous and would always go out of her way to help others, but most of all, she treasured spending time with her grandchildren.
