Goldie E. Kenyhercz, 99 Canfield: There will be a funeral liturgy on Thursday, December 11, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Saint George Byzantine Catholic Church, 1762 Canfield Road in Youngstown for Goldie Elizabeth Kenyhercz, 99, who died Monday, December 8, 2014 at Vista Center of Boardman, formerly of Canfield. Goldie was born October 28, 1915 in Youngstown, the daughter of the late John and Susie (Zurky) Matica. She graduated from South High School. Goldie was a member of Saint George Byzantine Catholic Church. Her husband of 44 years, William S. Kenyhercz, whom she married on January 24, 1948 died November 29. 1992. Goldie is survived by her two sons Dr. Kenneth Kenyhercz of Tampa, Florida and Dr. Christopher J. (Marsha) Kenyhercz of Canfield; seven grandchildren, Kelly, Karly, Katie, Michael, Kyle, Craig and William. Besides her parents and husband, Goldie was preceded in death by a son, Dr. Thomas M. Kenyhercz; two brothers, Nick Matica and Andrew Matica; and a sister Ann S. Centric. There are no calling hours.
