Gladys J. Lisko, 87

Mineral Ridge: Private funeral services were held on Monday, October 20, 2014 at Thompson-Filicky Funeral Home, Boardman, for Gladys J. Lisko, 87, who died Friday evening, October 17, 2014 at Vista Center at the Ridge.

Gladys was born January 19, 1927 in Youngstown, the youngest child of eight, to George and Mary (Smoly) Mislevy.

She was a 1945 graduate of South High School and worked as a bookkeeper at Roth Brothers for a short time. She was a homemaker.

She was a member of St. Dominic Church and formerly lived on Larkridge Drive in Boardman.

Her husband of sixty-two years, Joseph A. Lisko, whom she married on October 2, 1948, died April 19, 2010.

Gladys is survived by two children; Cheryl D. (Richard) Martinko of Brecksville, Dale J. (Cheryl L.) Lisko of Girard, a son-in-law; Gene Woloshyn of Lake Forest, Illinois, a sister;Mildred Restuccio of Columbus, four grandsons; Jason Lisko and Joshua Lisko, both of Girard, Andrew Woloshyn of Tallahassee, Florida and Alex Woloshyn of Ithaca, New York and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, Gladys was preceded in death by a daughter Karen S. Woloshyn, four brothers; Michael Mislevy, John Mislevy, Stephen Mislevy and Joseph Mislevy, and two sisters; Mary Saupp and Ann Robek.

Interment was at Lake Park Cemetery.

The family requests that material tributes take the form of contributions to the donor's favorite charity in memory of Gladys.
