Floyd Lewis Wright
Zephyrhills, Florida: There will be funeral services on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at New Covenant Worship Center, Church of the Nazarene, 1900 Canfield Road, Youngstown for Floyd Lewis Wright, 77, known as "Lewie" formerly of Lealand Avenue, Poland, who died Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Florida Hospital Zephyrhills.
Lewie was born April 3, 1935 in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of the late Kellie and Millie (Back) Wright. He graduated from South High School in 1953. He served in the Navy Seabees during the Korean Conflict.
He worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Youngstown in the vehicle maintenance department for over 35 years, retiring in 1990. After his retirement, Lewie worked at Thompson Funeral Home as a funeral attendant for over 10 years.
His wife of 39 years, the former Lucinda Anderson whom he married on June 9, 1956, died September 6, 1995. His wife of seven years, the former Donna Woolensack whom he married on March 1, 1998, died January 19, 2005.
Lewie is survived by his Fiancee Nancy Lothrop, formerly of Lee, Maine and her family of Lee, Maine , his daughter Suzanne B. (Larry) Balestrino of Poland, twin sons; Duane K. (Valerie) Wright of Palm Bay, Florida and Darrell L. (Sheryl) Wright of Ocala, Florida, two brothers; Edward (Lucille) Wright of North Lima and Kellie (Bobbi) Wright of Sebring, a sister Hazel (David) Benson of Pompano Beach, Florida, 12 grandchildren; Lauren (John) Waugh, Neal (Katie) Balestrino, Kaileen Balestrino, Spencer Balestrino, Reggie Balestrino, Michael Balestrino, Tara Balestrino, Victoria Balestrino, Shane Wright, Shelby Wright, Megan Wright and fiancAC. Johnmarg Perales, Erin Wright and 2 great grandchildren; Anthony Balestrino and Emilia Waugh.
Besides his parents and wives, Lewie was preceded in death by three sisters; Loretta Hollon, Alice Frost, and Florence Stare.
Family and friends may call on Friday, February 1, 2013 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, 4221 Market Street, Boardman and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.
