Elsie R. Rankin

Larned Kansas: A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Bridge of Hope Church, 7580 Glenwood Avenue, Boardman for Elsie R. Rankin, 94, formerly of Youngstown who died January 24, 2012 at the Larned Healthcare Center, Larned, Kansas.

She was born July 29, 1917 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Robert and Dorotha (Cramer) Cummins.

Elsie was an Accounting bookkeeper and a member of the Assembly of God Church, Larned, Kansas.

Her husband, Charles W. Rankin whom she married on July 20, 1935 in Wheeling, West Virginia died November 11, 1997.

Elsie is survived by a son Charles Kenneth Rankin of Anna, Texas, a daughter Rebecca Sue Webster of Larned, Kansas, ten grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

Besides her parents, and husband, Elise was preceded in death by a son William Ronald Rankin and a sister Mary Stewart.
