Eleanor Louise Beohm, 95

Youngstown: Eleanor Louise (Leverence) Beohm, 95, formerly of Bancroft Avenue, Youngstown, died Saturday evening, February 22, 2014 at Pembrooke Place Skilled Nursing Center.

Eleanor was born November 28, 1918 in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Herman and Myrtle (Goodwin) Leverence.

She graduated from South High School in 1936 and then attended the business school at Youngstown College. Eleanor was a homemaker and a member of Faith Community Covenant Church.

Her husband of 51 years, John Beohm whom she married on July 12, 1942, died December 24, 1993.

Eleanor is survived by two sons, Richard T. (Rose) Beohm of Thomaston, Georgia and Robert A. Beohm of Youngstown, two grandsons, Michael Beohm and Eric Beohm, two great grandchildren Michael Beohm, Jr. and Sarah Beohm, both of Thomaston, Georgia and a dear cousin, Juanita Bloom of Austintown.

Besides her parents, Eleanor was preceded in death by a daughter, Miss Karen L. Beohm and a sister, Lucille Fay Payne.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 28, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at The Thompson~Filicky Funeral Home, 4221 Market Street, Boardman.

Family and friends may call on Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family requests that material tributes take the form of contributions to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market Street, Boardman, Ohio 44512-2198 in memory of Eleanor.
