Elda Naomi Swaniger Lake Milton: Private services were held on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Thompson-Filicky Funeral Home, Boardman for Elda Naomi Swaniger, 79, who went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at her residence with her family by her side. Elda was born July 24, 1934 in Indiana, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Walter W. and Naoma K. (Henneman) Learn. She moved to the area as a child and graduated from Austintown Fitch High School in 1952. She loved traveling and going to Blue Grass Festivals. Elda loved spending time with family and especially family gatherings and events. Elda is survived by her companion of 35 years, three children; Patricia A. (David) Dennison of Berlin Center, James W. (Terri) Keiper of Mount Gilead, Ohio, Terry R. (Swaniger) Omerzo of Niles, three brothers; Richard Learn and Ralph (Christine) Learn, both of Austintown and Donald (Georgianne) Learn of Youngstown, 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son; Thomas Keiper. Her eldest son, Robert K. Keiper, follow her in death on July 24, 2014. There are no calling hours.
