E. Irene Dickey, 83 Boardman: There will be a Memorial Service on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Thompson~Filicky Funeral , 4221 Market Street, Boardman with Reverend Peter Haenstling officiating for Ethel Irene Dickey, 83, who died on Wednesday, April 30, 2014. Irene was born February 13, 1931 in Butler, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Young) Miller. She was a member of Concordia Evangelical Lutheran Church, Youngstown. Irene was a homemaker and worked as a sales associate for J.C. Penny's.. Her husband of 19 years, Jack L. Dickey, whom she married on October 15, 1948, died May 14, 1967. Irene is survived by a son Leslie E. (Dianne) Dickey of Prince Frederick, Maryland, a sister, Virginia (Edward) Johnson of Butler, Pennsylvania, 5 grandchildren; Jonathan (Rebeca) Remick of Chesterfield, Virginia, Adam (April) Remick of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Tim Remick of Nashville Tennessee, Todd (Teasha) Thompson of King George, Virginia, Barry (Lanette) Thompson of Sandston, Virginia, 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Beside her parents and husband, Irene was preceded in death by a daughter Susan J. Remick, two brothers; Edwin "Ed" Klink, Joseph Klink and a sister, Patricia Miller.
