David L. Brant, 77

Youngstown:  Private funeral services were held at Thompson Filicky Funeral Home, 4221 Market Street in Boardman for David L. Brant, 77, who died suddenly at Mercy Health ER on Monday, March 13, 2017.

Dave was born August 23, 1939 in New Florence, Pa., the son of the late Charles R. and Mildred L. (Clawson) Brant.

He moved to the Youngstown area and worked at the Mahoning County Courthouse as a clerk.

David was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in New Florence, Pa.  He served in the Army during the Vietnam War.

Dave is survived by a niece, Lisa J. Brant, goods friend, Clement Howley and his neighbor, Julie C. Kenney, all fromYoungstown.

Besides his parents, Dave is preceded in death by his wife; an infant son and his brother, R. Charles Brant.
