Daniel Weidner Youngstown: There will be funeral services on Monday, July 27, 2015 at 4 p.m. at Thompson-Filicky Funeral Home, 4221 Market Street, Boardman for Daniel Weidner, 57, who died Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Saint Elizabeth Health Center. Daniel was born February 3, 1958 in Youngstown, the son of George R. and Judith M. (Kirby) Weidner. He worked for his father at Weidner Sign Service. Later on, he was a mechanic and driver for Bob O's Towing Company for several years. His hobbies were flying custom kites and he enjoyed riding his bicycle on different road trips and adventures. Daniel is survived by his wife of 12 years, the former Debra K. Farrell, whom he married on March 22, 2003, his mother, Judy M. Weidner of Youngstown, three sons, Daniel, John and Samuel; three brothers, George (Mary) Weidner and David Weidner, both of Youngstown, Thomas Weidner of Hubbard; two sister, Anna Weidner of Youngstown and Rosie Weidner of Cleveland; 10 grandchildren and a great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his father, George and a son, Jesse. Family and friends may call on Monday, July 27, 2015 from 3 to 4 p.m. at Thompson-Filicky Funeral Home, with funeral service to follow at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that material tributes take the form of contributions to Thompson-Filicky Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
