Christopher A. MacGregor, 81 Warren: There will be private services on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Lake Park Cemetery, 1459 E. Midlothian Blvd., Youngstown, for Christopher Arthur MacGregor, 81, who died Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Saint Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown with his family by his side. Christopher was born July 15, 1933 in Parker, Pennsylvania to the late, Arthur "Red" C. and Emma M. (Peters) McGregor. He moved to the Youngstown area in the early 1990's and later to Warren, Ohio in 2008. He was a welder and plumber for over 40 years, retiring in 2008. After retirement, Christopher worked in maintenance at a local nursing home. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. Christopher is survived by four children: Penny L. MacGregor, Regina A. (Kenneth) Callen, Christine A. MacGregor, all from Butler, Pennsylvania, John S. (Christine) MacGregor of Lorain, Ohio; two step-children: Terry L. (Samuel) Salem of Hubbard, OH and Dennis R. Olson of McDonald, OH; 14 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren; and a sister, Gladys Goal of Butler, Pennsylvania and his companion of 6 years Betsy Allen of Warren, Ohio. Beside his parents, Christopher was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, the former Dixie Lee Carney, whom he married on May 24, 1975, died May 15, 2008; a son Guy A. MacGregor; two sisters, Infant Alice K. McGregor and Helen Wimer; a brother Thomas McGregor and a grandson, Robert McClymonds. There are no calling hours.
