Poland: Charles Abe Griffith, Jr., 59 years old, went to heaven on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at his home in Poland.

Charles was born August 6, 1951, to Charles Griffin Sr. and Elizabeth Lutton.

He attended Leetonia Schools and worked for Franklin Furniture in Columbiana, Ohio

Charles is survived by his mother Elizabeth Thompson of Kansas, four sisters Elizabeth (Kenneth) Crisp of Leetonia, Brenda (Wayne) Venzo of Kansas, Virginia (Richard) Scott of Columbiana, Helen (Bruce) Corey of Leetonia, a step-brother Jim LeBaron of Boardman, four nieces, two nephews, four great nieces, five great nephews and a great great niece, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Abe Griffith, Sr.

Calling hours will be on Monday, May 2, 2011 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, 4221 Market Street, Boardman follow by funeral services at 7 p.m.
