Carole A. Balog, 75 Poland: Carole A Balog, 75, died Wednesday evening, March 30, 2016 from Parkinson's disease, with her family by her side. Carole was born in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Isaac Roberts and Victoria P. Dammeyer. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School, Class of 1958. She and her husband, Joseph, were business owners for over seventeen years, where Carole served as the President. Carole is survived by her husband of 56 years of marriage, Joseph A. Balog, a daughter Gayle (Jeff) Irwin of Houston, Texas; a son, Todd Balog of Merriam, Kansas, a granddaughter Jamie Irwin; a sister Paula (Armando) Spano of Poland; and her sister-in-law, Winona J. (David) Searles of Youngstown. Carole was a wonderful wife and mother. She enjoyed reading and was accomplished at needlepoint. She did renovations in many of the homes she lived in throughout the country. A private memorial service will be held for Carole. There are no calling hours.
