Betty J. Yeany Poland: Private funeral services were held on Thursday, May 7, 2015 in the chapel at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, for Betty J. Yeany, 93, formerly of Squirrel Hill Drive, who died Monday afternoon, May 4, 2015 with her family by her side. Betty was born July 30, 1921 in Youngstown the daughter of Ralph and Marion (Webster) Wolf. She was a graduate of Boardman High School. Betty was a member of the former Western Reserve Baptist Church, in Boardman. She was a devoted wife and mother and enjoyed gardening, ceramics and reading. Betty is survived by two daughters, Judith (Bob) Back of Houston, Texas, Diane Mady of Poland; a brother, Ralph C. Wolf Jr. of Clearwater, Florida; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Besides her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, David W. Yeany, Sr., whom she married on October 14, 1940 and who died July 1, 2006; a son David W. Yeany Jr.; a sister Ella Mae Hack; and a grandson, Kurtis Yeany. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Arrangements were handled by Thompson-Filicky Funeral Home, Boardman.
