Betty (Forner) Zboray Boardman: There will be funeral services on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Christ Church Presbyterian, 1933 Canfield Road, Youngstown for Betty A. Zboray, 96 who died Monday, May 14, 2102 at Shepherd of the Valley, Boardman. She was born November 13, 1915 in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of the late Paul H. and Alice F. (Dix) Forner. She moved to the Youngstown area in 1945. Betty graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor's degree and the University of Michigan with a master's degree in physical education. She was a physical education teacher with the Youngstown Schools for 25 years, teaching at Chaney High School and Hillman Junior High. Later on, she taught health at Youngstown State University. She was a member of Christ Church Presbyterian, Youngstown, where she served as an Elder, Trustee and belonged to the Women's Club. Betty was a member of Delta Zeta Sorority from Kent State University and the Federation Women's Club, Illalie II of Youngstown. Her husband, Stephen M. Zboray whom she married on July 31, 1956, died February 9, 1988. Betty is survived by her daughter, Janet R. Wolf of Akron Ohio, three grandchildren; Casey (Jennifer) Wolf, Sarah Wolf, and Joshua Wolf and three great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by a sister Marion Bloom and son-in-law Dennis.
