Adam E. Simon, 40

     Oakland Park Florida:  Adam E. Simon, 40, formerly of Youngstown, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2018 in Oakland Park, Florida, after a long illness.

     Adam was born May 18, 1977 in Youngstown, the son of Eugene N. and Linda J. (Baumgardner) Simon. 

     He graduated from Boardman High School in 1995 and Technical College in Fort Lauderdale. 

     Adam was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Youngstown for over 18 years, before moving to Florida.

     Adam is survived by his parents, Linda J. and step father, Donald C. Plant of Boardman, his father, Eugene N. Simon of Boardman; a sister, Amy L and brother-in-law, Richard Anzevino; two nieces, Maddie and Maya; and his grandmother, Aurelia Simon all from Poland; Aunt Charlene Leipply of Frostproof, FL, Aunt Connie Baumgardner of Athens, TN and Aunt Ruth and Uncle Erbin Baumgardner of Riceville, TN

     He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wilbert (Revera) Baumgardner and grandfather, Nicholas Simon.

     There will be a memorial service celebrating the life of Adam, on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 1 pm at New Covenant Worship Center, Church of the Nazarene, 1900 Canfield Road in Youngstown with Pastor Jeff Gilkerson officiating.  Following the service, the family will greet relatives and friends in the church fellowship hall.

     In lieu of flowers, the family requests that material tributes take the form of contributions to American Cancer Society, 525 N. Broad Street, Canfield Ohio  44406 in memory of Adam.
