Irene S. Blasko

     Campbell:  Irene S. Blasko, 89, passed away Tuesday morning, August 1, 2017 at Oasis Healthcare Center. 

     She was born December 5, 1927 in Struthers, the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Billek) Blasko.   Irene graduated from Struthers High School and was a lifelong area resident.

     Irene worked for Saint Elizabeth Hospital for over 27 years, retiring in 1974, as a ward clerk. 

     She attended Victory Christian Center Center.

     Besides her parents, Irene was preceded in death by five sisters, Helen Kovalan, Mary Mromckak, Ann Palvicko, Margaret Burich and an infant sister; and a brother, Steven Blasko.

     Per Irene’s request, there are no calling hours or services. 

     Arrangements are being handled by Thompson Filicky Funeral Home, 4221 Market Street, Boardman, Ohio  44512.
